Active lipoextract of greater celandine is a lipophilic plant extract of greater celandine ( Chelidonium majus ), obtained by extraction into sunflower oil. The plant, traditionally used in European herbalism, is employed in modern cosmetics for its potential ability to act on oily and problematic skin types. The extract is standardized to an 11.25 % content of celandine extract , stabilized with natural tocopherol (vitamin E) and is compatible with certified organic cosmetic formulations.
