- Description
- Arnica flower CO₂-to extract is a highly concentrated natural extract obtained by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction from the flowers of Arnica montana . This gentle process is carried out without the use of organic solvents and preserves the full spectrum of the plant’s active substances, including sesquiterpene lactones, triterpenoid esters (faradiol, arnidiol esters) , a small amount of essential oils, resins and waxes . The product is standardised with organic sunflower oil, which ensures a stable content of active substances and easier incorporation into cosmetic formulations. It has a dark brown colour and at room temperature it is liquid to viscous with a characteristic herbal odour.
