- French pink cosmetic clay is a natural mineral raw material with INCI Montmorillonite , Illite , Kaolin . It is obtained by mining natural deposits, then mechanically purified, dried and finely milled into a powder. No perfumes or colorants are used during production – the pink coloration is natural and results from the mineral composition and the ratio of the individual clays. In cosmetics it is used mainly for gentle cleansing and a mattifying effect, while in formulations it also serves as a mineral filler that improves the “drier” skin feel. Key benefits Mattifying effect – helps reduce shine and leaves the complexion fresh. Absorbs excess sebum and contributes to a cleaner skin feel.
