It blends very well with orange, lavender, rosewood, frankincense, tea tree, eucalyptus, sage, basil, thyme, chamomile, nutmeg, or cardamom. Its use has proven effective in aromatherapy to support sleep, alleviate stress and anxiety, and thanks to its soothing effects it is used to relieve menstrual pain, either as an ingredient in warm compresses or in a massage blend. It has also found its use in sports – it treats tired and sore muscles and is therefore ideal for sports massages. It can also help at the first signs of a cold as an additive to a hot bath.
