Description
ZENISOAPBASE White soap base is a white glycerine soap base for melting and pouring (melt and pour), designed for making soaps without lye solution and without waiting for saponification. You melt the base, add fragrance and dye, pour it into a mould, and the soap is ready once it cools. The soap base itself, that is, saponified fatty acid salts combined with glycerine , sorbitol and foaming surfactants, is already included, so it also suits makers with no experience of the cold process. The white, opaque base is the foundation for richly coloured soaps, pastel shades and soaps with layers or patterns, where a clear base does not give the coverage you need. It is used for hand, body and face soaps and is supplied in a 1 kg pack. Key properties Lye-free production – the base is already saponified, so you only melt it, add fragrance and pour. There is no need to weigh sodium hydroxide or to use protective equipment for working with lye solution. White, opaque colour – titanium dioxide gives the base a full white shade, on which pigments and cosmetic dyes show their true colour. Foam and cleansing effect – besides soap salts, it contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, which support foam formation. Glycerine and sorbitol – moisturising ingredients that bind water in the finished soap. Free from ingredients of animal origin – the base contains no materials of animal origin, silicones, formaldehyde or formaldehyde donors, alcohol or parabens. It has not been tested on animals and is not classified as hazardous under CLP. Free from fragrance allergens

ZENISOAPBASE soap base is used to make soaps and soap bouquets. It has a plant base and the resulting soap has excellent lather and, thanks to its high glycerine content, it also moisturises the skin very well. It stays fluid for a relatively long time, so it can be used even for more complicated projects. Soap castings do not lose volume when left standing for longer (important above all when making bouquets). The soap base contains no animal fats or oils - 100% vegan.

When colouring the base with ZENICOLOR colourants we recommend mixing 70% transparent CLEAR base and 30% white WHITE base to avoid excessive consumption of colourant.

Melting point: 65°C
Do not exceed 75°C when heating!

Working with the soap base is not difficult at all. Simply cut the required amount of soap base into smaller pieces; this speeds up the melting stage. Heat the base slowly in a water bath or in a microwave. Take care, the base must not boil, so heat it slowly. A few drops of essential or fragrance oil, liquid or powder colourant and, for a special touch, dried herbs can be added to the melted base.

Stir slowly so that no unnecessary air bubbles form, as these would leave holes once the soap has set. Pour the soap base into the prepared mould. Immediately after pouring we recommend applying a few sprays of bubble remover - 99% isopropyl alcohol. The final step is to let it set. The soap can be used as soon as it is turned out of the mould, but we recommend leaving the base to rest for about 2 weeks for better properties.

Further information on the quality of the product can be found in the certificate of analysis, which we update with every new batch.

All raw materials supplied are of cosmetic grade and are not suitable for internal use. Use suitable protective equipment when handling them.
