Beeswax honeycomb sheet

Beeswax is offered in the form of honeycomb sheets or foundation sheets. The pack of 11 beeswax foundation sheets is intended primarily for making beeswax candles.
This is a hard wax and its melting point is higher than that of other waxes, so your candle will burn for longer.

When making candles, the foundation sheets are warmed slightly so that they become more pliable, trimmed to the required size, and once the wick has been placed in the centre of the candle they are rolled up tightly. The candle will be firm enough and will burn well. As beeswax can run down the sides, we recommend burning the candle on a non-flammable surface.

Did you know that beeswax is the only wax that helps to purify the air? Burning candles made from beeswax releases negative ions, which purify the air and rid it of toxins. It is the oldest wax in use. Making candles from beeswax is fairly straightforward and the benefits are far broader than with paraffin candles.
