Handymade has a new online shop. The same ingredients, the same people, the same Prievidza — what’s new is the technology under the bonnet. Your account and your order history have stayed exactly where they were, but the first time you sign in you’ll need to set a new password.
The new shop brings a faster website, language versions for our international domains and easier sign-in. Setting a new password takes a minute — and if you sign in with Google or Apple, you don’t even need to do that.
Why you need to set a new password
Your account, your e-mail address and your order history have all moved across to the new shop. Passwords, however, were deliberately not transferred: the new system stores them in a different, more secure way, and an old stored password cannot technically be carried over to it.
That doesn’t mean you’ve lost your account. All you need to do is set a new password — it only takes a moment and you only do it once.
How to set a new password
There are three steps, and the whole thing happens in your browser and your e-mail inbox.
-
Open the sign-in page
Click the account icon in the header or go straight to Account and choose the Forgotten your password? link.
-
Enter the e-mail address you used with us
We’ll send you a link to set a new password. If the message doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or bulk mail folder.
-
Set your new password
Click the link in the e-mail, enter your new password and repeat it. You’ll then be signed in straight away, and that password is yours from then on.
Or skip the password: signing in with Google and Apple
The new shop supports signing in with Google and Apple. On the sign-in page you’ll find the Continue with Google and Continue with Apple buttons.
If your account uses the same e-mail address, it will be linked automatically the first time you sign in — order history included. In that case you don’t need to set a password at all.
What has changed in the new shop
- A faster website
The new technology loads the catalogue and the basket considerably faster, on mobile and on desktop alike.
- Language versions
Each of our international domains has its own language and prices in the local currency.
- Easier sign-in
Password, Google or Apple — whichever suits you.
- Account and history kept
You’ll find your previous orders in your account under Orders, including the archive from the old shop.
Did you shop without registering?
If you ordered from us as a guest, without an account, there’s nothing you need to do. You complete your order just as before and there’s no password to set.
You can create an account at any time later. It gives you an overview of your orders, saved addresses and company details — and, for wholesale customers, your own prices.
Frequently asked questions about the new shop
Why wasn’t my old password transferred?
The new shop stores passwords in a different, more secure way, and an old stored password cannot technically be carried over to it. Your account and order history are not affected — only the password changes.
The password e-mail hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
Check your spam and bulk mail folders, and make sure you entered the e-mail address you used when shopping with us. If nothing arrives even after a second attempt, write to us at [email protected] — we’ll help you find your account.
Do I need to set a new password if I sign in with Google or Apple?
No. Signing in with Google or Apple works without a password. The important thing is to use the same e-mail address as your original account — the sign-in is then linked to it automatically.
Will I lose my order history?
No. Your order history stays in your account under Orders, including the archive of orders from the old shop.
Does this apply to wholesale customers too?
Yes. Wholesale terms and prices are tied to your account, so you’ll see them as soon as you sign in.
Go to your account, choose “Forgotten your password?” and follow the e-mail — or simply sign in with Google or Apple. If anything doesn’t work, you can reach us at [email protected].
