Black elder

Elderflowers contain many valuable substances such as essential oils, mucilage, tannins, flavonoids, organic acids (malic, acetic, valeric) and vitamin C. They are widely used in the treatment of respiratory complaints, but they also have a cleansing effect on the body. In cosmetics, elderflower is used above all in the care of blemish-prone skin, and also in soothing and strengthening baths.
Dried elderflowers can also be made into a hydrolat, which is suitable for all types of creams and emulsions, especially those for problematic skin.
