Available in our shop
Dwarf mallow or common mallow. This rather unassuming name belongs to a medicinal plant with beautiful blue-violet flowers, which has found use in the treatment of the mucous membranes of the digestive as well as the respiratory tract (effective for tonsillitis, bronchitis and coughs).
For external use it is applied to wounds, ulcers, swollen legs or hands, and inflammation of the veins.
Its folk names also include God’s little cakes, God’s little cheeses or little bread, owing to the shape of the fruits, which resemble small rounds of cheese.
