Clear PET bottle 100 ml with a 24/410 neck thread is designed for filling your own liquid and semi-liquid preparations – from tonics, hydrolats and face waters to body oils and serums through to cleansing or technical solutions. Supplied without a closure, so you can choose your own dispensing method. The transparent material shows the contents and their colour, which is practical for products you want to distinguish at a glance. The bottle is suitable for use with cosmetic products; a declaration of conformity and technical documentation are available with the product. It is also available in technical grade, making it suitable for workshop or household solutions that do not require cosmetic-grade standards.

What the bottle is suitable for

The 100 ml volume is a practical size for aqueous and alcohol-based preparations: tonics, hydrolats, face waters, mouthwashes, alcohol-based disinfectant solutions at common concentrations, or spray-on fresheners. It can also be used for body and massage oils, liquid soaps and shampoos in smaller volumes, or as samples for customers.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume the bottle is intended to be filled to under normal conditions. Total volume to the brim is the physical capacity up to the neck and is always slightly larger. The difference provides headspace for the closure, pump or sprayer and for slight expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim – otherwise the contents will be forced out when the closure is screwed on, or dispensing will be impaired.

Closures and combinations

The bottle is sold without a closure. Any closure with the same neck thread is compatible – screw cap, disc-top cap, pump or sprayer; ready-made bottle + closure combinations are available in our range. With a custom combination, we recommend verifying the seal and dispensing performance with the specific formulation – especially with thicker emulsions and oils, where a pump behaves differently than with water.

Good to know

• Preparation before first fill – rinse the bottle with clean water, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave to dry completely. Residual water could affect the preservation of the contents.
• Temperature – PET is not intended for hot filling. Allow emulsions and solutions to cool to approximately room temperature before filling, otherwise the bottle may deform.
• Essential oils and solvents – PET tolerates the usual dosage of essential oils in a finished product; undiluted essential oils, solvents and aggressive chemicals are not suitable for PET as they may soften or cloud the material. For non-standard contents, test with a single bottle first.
• Reuse – the bottle can be reused after washing and disinfection. Do not alternate between technical and cosmetic preparations.
• Labelling – the cylindrical shape allows a wrap-around label; label dimensions are listed in the product specifications.
• Recycling – PET belongs in sorted plastic waste; rinse the bottle before disposal.
