The black plastic 18 mm cream dispenser is a pump with a locking cap that turns a standard bottle into a hygienic dispensing container. Cream, body lotion or serum is dispensed by pressing the head — without opening the bottle and without fingers touching the contents, which is particularly valuable with emulsions requiring careful preservation and with facial products.

The dispenser comes with a dip tube and is designed for bottles with the neck size specified in the product parameters. It suits lighter creams, facial milks, serums and fluids where precise and repeatable dosing matters.

Use in formulation

The dispenser screws onto a bottle with the matching neck type specified in the parameters. The dip tube should reach the bottom of the bottle. For shorter bottles it can be trimmed with a sharp knife or scissors so it ends just above the base. The cut must be straight and clean; any burrs or an uneven cut will cause the tube to draw in air, resulting in an inconsistent dose.

The dispenser is suited to liquid to medium-viscosity formulations. Thick creams with a high wax content, butters or products with larger particles (scrubs) do not pump well and may clog the mechanism.

Fill the bottle only to its nominal volume, not to the brim. The headspace between the fill level and the neck is needed to accommodate the dip tube and pump mechanism, and to allow for slight expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The first one or two presses after fitting the dispenser only prime the dip tube; product will not flow until after that.

Good to know

Before first use, rinse the dispenser with clean water, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow it to dry completely. Residual water in the mechanism would otherwise dilute the first doses and, with preservation-sensitive formulations, could be a source of contamination.

For products with a high proportion of essential oils, concentrated fragrance compositions or solvents, we recommend verifying that prolonged contact does not alter the flexibility of the dip tube or the seal of the mechanism.

The dispenser can be reused after thorough cleaning. Rinse it with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent, pump clean water through it several times, and allow it to dry. When empty, it belongs in plastic waste.
