Product description
The glass dropper bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of liquid and drop-based formulations. Thanks to the durable glass, it is a stable choice for cosmetic products, concentrated blends and more sensitive solutions where long-term protection of the contents is important. The dark glass helps protect the fill from light, thereby supporting the stability and longevity of more sensitive ingredients.
Possible uses
- packaging for facial and body serums, intensive treatments and specialized cosmetic products
- bottle for oil elixirs, facial oils and massage oils
- container for essential oils and aromatherapeutic blends
- dropper bottle for concentrated extracts and tinctures for external use
- practical jar for test samples or small product batches
Packaging benefits
- Material stability – glass is a chemically resistant material, it interacts only minimally with the contents and is suitable for long-term storage of more sensitive formulations.
- Content protection – dark glass helps to reduce the impact of light on the contents, which is important for products prone to oxidation.
- Professional appearance – the compact dropper bottle looks clean and minimalist and is suitable for hand-made production as well as small brands.
- Sustainability – with proper care, the glass packaging can be reused multiple times or easily recycled within separated waste collection.
Combining with closures and dispensers
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).Technical parameters
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.FAQ – Frequently asked questions
Yes, the glass packaging can be safely reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before every new filling, the dropper bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbiological contamination and undesirable changes to the product.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle to remove any dust particles and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution (e.g. IPA or ethanol). After disinfection, allow the inside of the packaging to dry naturally in a clean environment. Only then fill the packaging with the final product in order to maintain its stability and cleanliness.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. Glass dropper bottles are usually placed in the container designated for glass after being emptied and basically rinsed. Plastic or metal closures should be separated according to the material type. By following local waste separation rules, you support sustainable handling of packaging.
Glass dropper bottles are commonly used for products containing essential oils and various active ingredients, since glass is a stable and resistant packaging material. Nevertheless, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – fill a small amount of the product, monitor the behaviour of the contents over time and check the seal of the selected closure or dropper.
When selecting a suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. With the filter you can easily narrow down the offer according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. This way you can quickly find dropper bottles, bottles, jars or pots that best match your specific product.
Filled bottles should be stored tightly closed, in a dry and clean environment, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Stable storage conditions help maintain the texture, scent and efficacy of your formulations. For products prone to oxidation or degradation, it is also important to minimise contact with air during dosing.
