A plastic bottle with a nominal volume of 100 ml and a trigger sprayer is a ready-to-use set for thin liquids applied by spraying: hair tonics and sprays, body mists, room fragrances, linen waters, and household cleaning products. The bottle is made of lightweight, shatterproof plastic, making it suitable for the bathroom, travel, and anywhere glass would be a risk. The clear material shows the colour of the contents and how much remains.

The sprayer is operated by a trigger squeezed with the fingers. For repeated spraying this is more comfortable than pressing down on the top of a standard pump sprayer. The sprayer is matte black with a smooth collar and no ribbing.

What the set is suitable for

• Hair and body cosmetics – hair tonics, detangling sprays, body and refreshing mists with a water or alcohol base.
• Room and textile fragrances – room sprays and linen waters applied repeatedly, where a trigger is more comfortable than a standard pump.
• Household products – cleaning and care formulations in a smaller size, for example for travel or as a sample.

The sprayer requires a liquid with a consistency close to water. Thick gels, creamy emulsions, and viscous oils will not spray evenly — they come out as a stream or clog the nozzle. For such products a pump dispenser or disc-top cap is more suitable.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed to hold under normal filling conditions. Total volume to the brim is the physical capacity up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference serves as a buffer: space in the neck is occupied by the sprayer body with its dip tube, and the contents need room to expand with changes in temperature.

Good to know

Preparation before first fill. We recommend washing the bottle, rinsing it, disinfecting with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or ethanol, and allowing it to dry completely. The sprayer should be flushed with a few pumps of clean water followed by ethanol to rinse the dip tube and nozzle as well.

Plastic and heat. Fill only with contents cooled to room temperature. Hot liquid can deform the plastic bottle; do not fill it while hot or sterilise it by boiling.

Light. A clear bottle does not protect the contents from light. Products containing dyes, fragrance components, or plant extracts sensitive to light should be stored away from direct sunlight.

Intended use. The set is intended for cosmetic products and household preparations.
