- Description
- AminoSensyl HC, conditioner A plant-based conditioning base that replaces quaternary ammonium salts (quats, such as behentrimonium chloride) in hair cosmetics while maintaining their effect. AminoSensyl HC combines a fatty alcohol from rapeseed (Brassica Alcohol) with a cationic aminolipid derived from the amino acid valine. In a formulation, it acts as a cationic conditioning system and O/W emulsifier in one , forming the base of a conditioner or mask without any additional emulsifier. On hair, it shows improved detangling, a smoother surface, and defined curl shape without weighing hair down. It is suitable for rinse-out and leave-in products for all hair types. The ingredient has COSMOS Approved certification, is vegan and readily biodegradable, making it possible to build a natural hair range with no compromises in conditioning. Key benefits Conditioning without quats – the cationic aminolipid conditions hair similarly to quaternary salts, but the ingredient is of plant origin and approved for natural cosmetics. Detangling and smoothness – hair detangles more easily after rinsing and frizzes less; the manufacturer also states improved hair strength. Lightweight result – conditioning can be tuned from light creams to rich masks without the feel of heavy, sticky hair. Emulsifier in one – the system stabilises the oil phase on its own; the creamy texture forms without any additional emulsifier and without silicones. Skin hydration – in body and facial cosmetics it leaves a smooth feel on skin; according to the manufacturer, the system does not irritate skin or eyes. Use infull description on the product page →
