Essential oil, cajeput

The essential oil Cajeput (cajeput) is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and twigs of the plant Melaleuca leucadendron L. (family Myrtaceae). It has a transparent to slightly yellow colour. This oil is stimulating and refreshing , helping to release tension and stress. It has pronounced antiseptic and antibacterial effects, helps to fight fungi and also repels insects . It is a natural analgesic that helps to relieve headache and toothache, and releases cramps and tension. It also helps to brighten and smooth the complexion. All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.
