Description
CO₂-to extract from raspberry seeds BIO is a thick fatty oil obtained by supercritical extraction with carbon dioxide from dried raspberry seeds ( Rubus idaeus ) from certified organic cultivation. Supercritical CO₂ extraction is carried out without organic solvents and under gentle temperature conditions. The result is a full-spectrum lipophilic extract that preserves the complex lipid spectrum of the seed, including fatty acids, the tocopherol fraction and other naturally occurring lipophilic components. For the production of 1 kg of extract, 6.0–8.0 kg of raspberry seeds are processed. The result is a yellow-brown oil with an exceptionally high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids. The extract contains 48–63% linoleic acid (omega-6, C18:2) and 23–30% alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3, C18:3), with the PUFA fraction accounting for a total of 82.5% of the total fat content. For better oxidative stability, the extract is conventionally stabilized with 0.1% BIO rosemary antioxidant extract. Key benefits Exceptional PUFA profile: 82.5% polyunsaturated fatty acids — places it among oils with a very high PUFA content suitable for modern natural cosmetics. Dominant linoleic fraction: 48–63% linoleic acid C18:2 — contributes to a lighter, less heavy feel in the oil phase of the formulation. Unusually high omega-3 profile: 23–30% alpha-linolenic acid C18:3 — this value is remarkable for a seed oil and distinguishes it from many common facial oils. Natural tocopherol fraction: tocopherols (0.15%) and tocotrienols (0.02%) are a natural part of the lipid profile of the extract. Full-sp
