Symbio solv clear plus

Symbio solv clear plus is a solubiliser of plant and biotechnological origin that incorporates essential and fragrance oils into aqueous products while keeping them clear . It is suitable wherever a small amount of oil needs to be dispersed in water without an emulsifier and without cloudiness: in tonics, facial waters, refreshing sprays, spray deodorants or bath salts. It is worked with cold , dosed at low percentages and carries COSMOS Approved certification. What it is suitable for Clear aqueous products with fragrance – an essential or fragrance oil is dispersed in water via the solubiliser into fine droplets. The solution remains transparent and does not separate. Incorporating oil-based components – a small amount of an oil-based component can be introduced into a tonic or light serum without forming an emulsion. Cold processing – the recommended temperature is up to 40 °C , so volatile components of the fragrance composition are not exposed to heat. Broad compatibility – it is compatible with non-ionic, anionic and amphoteric surfactants and with acidic to neutral pH. It can therefore also be used in shower gels and shampoos. Replacement for ethoxylated solubilisers – for formulations that should be PEG-free and contain ingredients of natural origin. Use in formulation The recommended dosage is 0.5 – 5 % of the total weight of the formulation. The required amount depends on how much oil and of what type you wish to solubilise. We recommend setting the ratio of solubiliser to oil on a small sample first, and then scaling up to the full batch. The procedure is the same
