Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant of plant origin produced from fatty alcohols (C8–C10) and glucose. It belongs to the group of so-called alkyl polyglucosides (APG) – surface-active agents that are gentle to the skin, biodegradable and ideal for modern “clean beauty” formulations. It combines high mildness with very good cleansing and foaming performance . It is suitable even for sensitive or baby skin and at the same time provides excellent stability over a wide pH range and in combination with other surfactants.
