Food-grade citric acid (also known as E330) is an essential ingredient in bath bombs and an equally indispensable helper for cleaning around the house. It also proves its worth in shampoos, creams, liquid soaps, shower gels, cleaning and laundry products and nail varnishes.
It is added to cosmetic products in order to adjust and maintain pH and to extend their shelf life, and it also cleanses, brightens and tightens the skin.
Citric acid occurs naturally in plants such as citrus fruits, raspberries and blackberries. It dissolves very readily in both water and alcohol.
It is a fine white crystalline powder.

All raw materials supplied are of cosmetic grade and are not suitable for internal use. Use suitable protective equipment when handling them.
