ZENISOAPBASE soap base is used to make soaps and soap bouquets. It has a plant base and contains no animal fats or oils - 100% vegan. The resulting soap has excellent lather and, thanks to its high glycerine content, it also very effectively moisturises the skin. This soap base is ideal for pouring larger volumes. It sets faster than the standard bases. It is distinguished by very high transparency, which makes it ideal for soaps with embedded pictures.

When colouring the base with ZENICOLOR colourants it is better to mix 70% transparent CLEAR base and 30% white WHITE base to avoid excessive consumption of colourant. If the soap is poured in several layers, the individual layers need to be sprayed with alcohol to improve adhesion. We recommend the IPA product from our range. The base stays fluid for a long time, so it can be used even for more complicated projects. When left standing for longer, there is no loss of volume in the soap castings (important above all when making bouquets).

Melting point: 65°C, do not exceed 75°C when heating!

Working with the soap base is not difficult at all. Simply cut the required amount of soap base into smaller pieces; this speeds up the melting stage. Heat the base slowly in a water bath or in a microwave. Take care, the base must not boil, so heat it slowly. To the melted base you can add a few drops of essential oil or fragrance oil, liquid or powder colourant and, for a special touch, dried herbs, for example.
