FAQ – Most frequently asked questions
Yes, the glass dropper bottle can be reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated do we recommend refilling the bottle.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and then disinfecting it with alcohol (for example with the products IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %). Let the bottle dry completely at room temperature in a clean environment so that no residues of water or alcohol remain that could affect the final product.
The simplest way is to work with the filters in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category of bottles and closures, you will find an advanced filter at the top of the page, where you can choose according to neck type, size, colour and material. We recommend choosing the same neck designation as indicated for this bottle so that compatibility is ensured already at the level of dimensions, and then carrying out your own tightness and dosing test.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend first emptying it and, where possible, removing any residue of the contents. The glass body of the packaging is then suitable for placing in the relevant glass recycling container according to local waste-sorting rules. Recycle the closure or dispenser according to the material stated in the product parameters – usually in the container for plastics or in mixed waste if local rules do not allow separate collection of that type of plastic. By following these principles, you support efficient recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
