Product description

A clear plastic bottle with a trigger sprayer forms a ready-to-use set for products applied by spraying over a larger area. The 100 ml capacity is suitable for small production runs, samples and travel-size packaging. The transparent wall lets you see the colour of the contents and the remaining volume.

The tall shape sits comfortably in the hand and the trigger allows dispensing with a single press, without squeezing the bottle. The clear sprayer does not interfere with the product's appearance.

What the set is suitable for

A trigger sprayer delivers a larger dose per press than a small pump sprayer. It is therefore best suited for thin, water-like liquids applied over a surface:

  • Hair sprays – detangling sprays, hair tonics and styling sprays.
  • Cleaning products – surface, glass and bathroom cleaners in smaller packaging.
  • Refreshers – sprays for fabric, interiors or laundry.
  • Body mists – where a more generous dose is desired, such as cooling body sprays.

The sprayer is designed for thin liquids. Thick gels, emulsions and preparations with undissolved particles will not spray evenly or will clog the nozzle. We therefore recommend testing dispensing with your specific formulation.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the amount the bottle is intended to hold under normal filling. Total volume is the physical capacity of the bottle up to the rim of the neck. The difference between them provides clearance for the dip tube and sprayer body, and for expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the rim.

Good to know

Before first use, rinse the bottle, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Flush the sprayer with a few presses of disinfectant solution and also allow to dry.

Formulations with a higher proportion of essential oils, alcohol or solvents may degrade the plastic over time. Before filling a full batch, we recommend leaving a test sample in the bottle for several weeks and monitoring whether the wall deforms or becomes cloudy.

The label area dimensions are listed in the product parameters. Apply the label to a dry and degreased surface. Once empty, rinse the bottle and place it in plastic recycling.

Individual bottles, closures with the same neck type and other ready-made combinations are available in the Handymade range. When assembling your own combination, we recommend verifying the seal, dispensing performance and packaging behaviour with your specific formulation.

Frequently asked questions

What liquids is the 100 ml plastic bottle with trigger sprayer suitable for?
The 100 ml plastic bottle with trigger sprayer is suitable for thin, water-like liquids applied over a surface. These include hair sprays, cleaning products in smaller packaging, fabric refreshers and body mists. For fine dispensing of small amounts, such as a facial toner, a pump sprayer is more appropriate.
Can oil or gel be sprayed with a trigger sprayer?
A trigger sprayer is not suitable for oil, gel or other thick liquids. Such preparations do not atomise into a fine mist, they come out as a stream or in drops and the trigger is harder to press. With thinner oil blends, viscosity is the deciding factor, so they need to be tested directly in the sprayer.
Does a clear plastic bottle protect the contents from light?
No, a clear plastic bottle does not protect the contents from light. Products sensitive to light, such as those containing essential oils, plant extracts or natural colorants, should therefore be stored in the dark, in a cupboard or at least away from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the contents to change colour and scent.
How much liquid should be filled into the 100 ml spray bottle?
Fill the bottle to the nominal volume of 100 ml, not to the rim of the neck. The space above the liquid is needed for the dip tube and sprayer body and also serves as a buffer for temperature changes. If overfilled, the liquid will spill through the neck when fitting the sprayer, soiling the thread and the label.
Can the plastic bottle with trigger sprayer be reused?
Yes, the plastic bottle with trigger sprayer can be refilled, provided it is thoroughly cleaned before each new fill. Wash the bottle with warm water and dish soap, rinse and disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Flush the sprayer with several presses of clean water followed by disinfectant. Do not boil the plastic; hot water may deform it.
