Plastic Pump Dispenser 24/410 turns any bottle with the same thread into a practical dispenser: one press releases approximately 1 ml of product, enabling precise, hygienic application without opening the bottle. It is particularly suited to liquid soaps, shower gels, body lotions, facial emulsions, serums and oils — liquid to medium-viscosity products used repeatedly on a daily basis.

The dispenser includes a dip tube that reaches the bottom of the bottle to draw up the contents. The packaging is suitable for contact with cosmetic products and is also approved for direct food contact, making it equally suitable for household oils, syrups, dressings or herbal infusions.

How to use the dispenser

The dispenser screws onto the neck of any bottle with the same thread type. Before first use, check the length of the dip tube: it should reach just above the bottom of the bottle so it can draw up the last remaining contents, but must not bend or kink at the bottom. If it is too long for a shorter bottle, it can be cut with a sharp knife or scissors; the cut should be straight and clean.

After screwing on, the dispenser needs to be primed — pressed several times until the dip tube and mechanism fill with product. The first few pumps may therefore be smaller or empty, which is normal behaviour, not a defect. Fill bottles only to the nominal volume, not to the brim: once screwed on, the dispenser takes up part of the space in the neck, and with an overfilled bottle the contents will be pushed out when closing.

What products the dispenser handles

The dispenser is designed for liquid and medium-viscosity products. It handles liquid soaps, gels, shampoos, body lotions, lighter emulsions, serums and oils without issue, and from the food category, for example oils or syrups.

Thick creams, ointments, balms and high-viscosity products are difficult to pump, the dose is inconsistent or the mechanism may jam. With thicker emulsions, test the behaviour on a single sample before filling an entire batch. Similarly, test products containing exfoliating particles, seeds or coarser fibres: solid particles can get caught in the mechanism and block dispensing.

With alcohol-based products, cleaning preparations and formulations with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, test the seal integrity and material compatibility directly with your specific formulation. PP plastic is reasonably resistant, but its behaviour in a finished product depends on composition and concentration.

Good to know

The dispenser is supplied without a bottle. Bottles with the same thread type as well as ready-made bottle + dispenser combinations are available in the Handymade range. With your own combination, verify the seal, dose size and packaging behaviour with your specific formulation.

Before filling for the first time, rinse the dispenser with clean water or disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. When switching products, remember that residues of the previous contents remain in the dip tube and mechanism.

During transport or storage of filled bottles, check whether the pump head can be pressed down by package pressure and whether contents may leak. When shipping to customers, secure the pump head against accidental depression. Once the product is used up, unscrew the dispenser from the bottle and sort separately by material type.
