Pump sprayer with a 24/410 neck screws onto any bottle with the same neck type and turns it into a practical spray dispenser for thin liquids. Pressing the lever draws the contents through the dip tube and disperses them into a fine mist, allowing even, drip-free dispensing. It is especially suitable for household cleaning products, air and fabric fresheners, hair waters and tonics, plant misting or alcohol-based disinfectant solutions. The black colour and smooth collar without knurling give the packaging a simple, clean look that pairs well with both clear and dark bottles.

The sprayer is made from polypropylene (PP), a lightweight and shatter-resistant plastic that holds up well against both aqueous and alcohol-based solutions. What the pump sprayer is suitable for

• Cleaning and household sprays – solutions with vinegar, baking soda, surfactants or alcohol for kitchen surfaces, glass and bathrooms. The lever allows comfortable dispensing even with frequent use.
• Air and fabric fresheners – water-alcohol blends with essential oils for curtains, bed linen or interior spaces.
• Hair tonics and leave-in sprays – thin aqueous preparations applied to the hair or scalp and not rinsed out.
• Plant misting and home gardening – water, extracts and fine sprays without oily components.
• Disinfectant solutions – alcohol-based preparations for hands, surfaces or equipment.

The common factor is low viscosity. The sprayer requires a liquid that behaves like water or alcohol. Thick solutions, gels and pure oils are beyond what the mechanism can handle and the nozzle will not disperse them.

Use and filling

The bottle should be filled to its nominal volume, not to the brim. The nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for in normal filling. The total volume up to the neck is larger, and the difference forms a reserve for the sprayer mechanism with the dip tube and for the movement of the contents when the lever is pressed. If the bottle is overfilled, the contents will be pushed out when screwing on the sprayer.

The dip tube is supplied at a length suitable for taller bottles. For a shorter bottle, cut it with a sharp knife so that it ends just above the bottom. A tube that is too long will bend inside the bottle and the sprayer will then draw in air. After screwing on, press the lever several times without liquid until the tube is primed and the mist comes out evenly. One press releases a small dose of around 0.2 ml, which is enough to cover a surface evenly without run-off.

What is worth knowing

• Compatible with 24/410 neck – bottles with the same thread type and ready-made bottle + sprayer combinations are available in the Handymade range. For your own combination, we recommend verifying the seal and dosing with your specific formulation.
• Essential oils and solvents – polypropylene is resistant to common aqueous and alcohol solutions, but a higher proportion of essential oils, terpenes or strong solvents may affect the seals and flexible parts of the mechanism over time. With such contents, carry out a test with a single unit and monitor the seal and lever action.
• Content viscosity – if the mist turns into a stream or the lever is hard to press, the content is too thick. Dilution or a different type of packaging will help.
• Labelling – the sprayer does not cover the upper part of the bottle; the label is applied to the body of the bottle according to its dimensions.
• Recycling – the packaging is made from polypropylene and belongs in sorted plastic waste; rinse it before disposal.
