Yes, the glass jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed. However, before each new filling it is essential to clean the container thoroughly and then disinfect it in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. Only after it has completely dried is the jar ready for refilling.
First, mechanically clean the jar from product residues (for example with a paper towel), then wash it in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse well and allow it to dry. After washing, we recommend disinfecting the container with an alcohol solution, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant‑based ethanol. Allow the disinfectant to act briefly and then let the jar dry completely again at room temperature.
If you decide not to use the jar any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste management rules and the information stated in the product parameters on Handymade.sk. The glass packaging can usually be handed over to the appropriate glass container after it has been cleaned from product residues. The closure must be sorted according to the material specified in the parameters (for example plastic or metal) and sorted separately. Before placing it into the container, remove as much of the remaining contents as possible so that the recycling is effective.
