Plastic spray pump 24/410 black with glossy silver ring is an elegant and practical solution for dispensing a fine aerosol from various bottles and containers with a suitable thread. The fine mist spraying is ideal for even application of liquid cosmetic formulations, homemade preparations and cleaning solutions without unnecessary waste of the contents. Thanks to the functional mechanism and high-quality plastic material, this packaging is suitable for products where precise and comfortable application to the skin, hair, surfaces or into the air is important.
The spray pump is intended to be combined with compatible bottles and containers with a matching thread and allows you to create practical spray packaging for various liquid products. The packaging and cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) in order to verify reliability in the specific application.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select a suitable bottle, vial or other packaging with a spray pump, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category. In the advanced filter you can clearly sort the packaging according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material, which makes it easy to match a suitable container with this type of spray pump.
The spray pump can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling, but it is always necessary to observe basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the spray pump and the respective bottle in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based are suitable, for example. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly before reuse.
The spray pump is ideal for low-viscosity liquids based on water or alcohol, where the goal is to create a fine and even spray. In practice, it is often used for facial and body toners, hydrolats, hair tonics, aromatherapeutic and interior sprays, or gentle cleaning solutions. For thicker emulsions or oil blends, we recommend carrying out a test before filling to check whether the mechanism ensures sufficiently smooth dosing.
If the dip tube is longer than the specific bottle with which you use the spray pump, it can be carefully shortened with sharp, clean scissors so that it reaches just to the bottom of the container. It is recommended to cut it at a slight angle, which facilitates the suction of the liquid. When shortening, make sure that the tube is not deformed, is not pressed against the wall of the bottle and that its end remains smooth, without cracks or notches that could hinder smooth pumping.
For long-term functionality, it is important that residues of products or crystallised substances do not accumulate in the mechanism. When using preparations containing salts, plant extracts or highly perfumed blends, we recommend occasional rinsing with clean water or a suitable diluent that is compatible with the given formulation. For longer storage periods, it is recommended to keep the spray pump fitted on the bottle in an upright position, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to avoid unnecessary stress on the plastic parts and seals.
If you decide not to use the spray pump and any corresponding bottle any longer, we recommend first thoroughly emptying them and removing any remaining contents. Then follow the information on the material composition stated in the product parameters and in the Packaging Quality Certificate – according to this, sort the individual parts of the packaging into the appropriate separate collection (for example, plastic into the container designated for plastics). In the case of combinations of different materials, it is advisable, where possible, to separate the components (for example, remove the cap, pump or spray head from the bottle) and sort them separately. In this way you support more efficient recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
