Product description
The induction aluminium liner is a sealing component designed for induction sealing of jars, in which a strong bond is created between the liner and the neck of the container by means of induction heating. This process ensures an intact, hygienic and controllable closure of the product, which serves as protection against contamination and at the same time as proof of first opening. The liner is suitable for products where emphasis is placed on protection of the contents, stability and safe packaging. According to the attached certificate, the packaging material is suitable for use with cosmetic products and also suitable for direct contact with all types of food.
Possible uses
- Cosmetic products: creams, balms, masks, peels, pastes and other preparations packed in jars where a hygienic closure is required
- Extracts, oils, aromatic blends: products packed into jars and pots for which a barrier against moisture and odours is important (a dedicated compatibility test is recommended)
- Food use: dry mixes, powder products, teas, spices, pastes and other foods packed into jars where it is necessary to ensure protection of the contents and control of first opening
Packaging benefits
- The combination of ALU and paper creates an effective barrier against moisture, odours and external influences.
- Protection of the contents against contamination and unintentional opening during storage and distribution.
- Material stability under normal storage and use conditions, without adverse impact on the sensory properties of the contents.
- Universal use for cosmetics as well as food, since suitability for both areas is confirmed in the certificate.
Combining with closures and dispensers
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, sealing quality and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for oily, aromatic or sensitive products.
Technical parameters
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
FAQ – Most frequent questions
We recommend using the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category. Using the filter, you can select according to neck finish, size, colour and material, which significantly simplifies the selection of the right packaging or accessory.
Induction sealing is a process in which the aluminium liner is firmly bonded to the neck of the jar by means of induction heating. This creates a sealing barrier that protects the contents and serves as control of the first opening of the product.
Yes. According to the attached certificate, the packaging material is suitable for use with cosmetic products and meets the legislative requirements for this type of use.
No. The induction liner is intended for single use. After the jar is opened, the seal is broken, which means it loses its sealing and protective function.
If the liner is not used repeatedly, its recycling is recommended. Since it is a combination of ALU and paper materials, disposal must be adapted to local waste sorting rules. If it is possible to separate the materials, place them in the appropriate collection containers. Otherwise, follow the instructions of your local waste collection company.
