Kraft paper bag, 1-layer, flat, 9×14 cm

This is a small flat kraft paper bag without gussets and without a reinforced bottom, designed for simple packaging of small cosmetic products, samples, and accessories. It is suitable wherever you need to wrap contents quickly, easily, and with a natural appearance – for solid soap bars, solid shampoos, bath bombs, samples, or small add-ons to an order. The brown paper has a natural look, takes print and labels well, and compared to a plastic bag, customers can simply dispose of it in paper recycling after use.

The bag is single-layer, making it thin and lightweight. This is an advantage for packaging and shipping, though it also determines what it is and isn't suitable for – see details below.

What the bag is suitable for

• Solid cosmetics – bars of soap, solid shampoos and conditioners, massage bars, or solid balms. The bag format suits a smaller bar or a sample; for larger pieces, compare with the dimensions in the product parameters.
• Samples and order add-ons – small testers, solid samples, accessories, a thank-you for the customer. The bag can simply be folded over and sealed with a logo sticker.
• Dry bulk content in an inner wrapper – bath salts, dried herbs, or clay powder, if first placed in an inner bag or sachet. The paper alone will not hold fine powder or moisture.
• Accessories and small goods – spatulas, small moulds, labels, caps. The bag serves as a technical container for sorting and handing over items.

Good to know

Kraft paper is not a barrier against fat or moisture. Freshly cut soap, balms with a higher oil content, or products that sweat should therefore only be placed in the bag once fully cured and dry, or first wrapped in parchment paper or foil. With direct contact with greasy content, the paper will soak through and lose its attractive appearance.

The bag is flat and has no bottom, so it cannot stand on its own. It is suitable for contents that can be inserted flat or are thin enough; bulky and heavy items will stretch the bag and cause the corners to bend.

The packaging is intended for cosmetic and technical use. Food-contact suitability is not declared for this bag; for packaging food, we recommend choosing packaging that lists this certification in its parameters.

Standard paper and foil labels adhere well to the paper surface, and it can be printed on with a stamp or written on by hand. The bag does not need to be washed or disinfected before use – simply protect it from moisture to prevent the paper from warping.

After use, the bag belongs in sorted paper recycling, provided it has not been contaminated with grease.
