Clear plastic bottle 750 ml with a black cap and dropper is a complete set for liquid products dispensed in portions. The transparent container shows the contents and the remaining amount; plastic is lightweight and will not break if dropped. The closure with a dropper on 28/410 thread allows controlled dispensing in a thin stream or drop by drop and limits accidental spills when tipped over.

The set is suitable for contact with cosmetics and for direct food contact. It can therefore be used for cosmetic preparations as well as for home-made oils, syrups, vinegars, or herbal extracts.

What the set is suitable for

• Liquid cosmetic bases – shower gels, shampoos, liquid soaps, body or massage oils that are poured from the bottle or dispensed into smaller containers.
• Bulk ingredient storage – vegetable oils, hydrolates, tonics, and other liquid raw materials where it is practical to see the current amount through the transparent wall.
• Food use – oil, vinegar, syrup, liquid honey, or home-made infusions. Both the bottle and the cap carry food contact certification, making the entire set compliant.
• Workshop and household solutions – cleaning solutions, laundry gels, or home-made fabric softener where a simple plastic container with dispensing is sufficient.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for during standard filling. Total brim-full volume is the physical capacity up to the neck and is always slightly larger. The difference provides a reserve for the cap and dropper and space for content expansion with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If overfilled, the content will be pushed out when the dropper is attached or will leak when opened.

How to use the set

Both the cap and the dropper are designed for a 28/410 thread, a common neck size for which other closures and pump dispensers are also available. If you want to combine the bottle with a different closure from the Handymade range, follow the neck type specified in the parameters. For custom combinations, we recommend testing the seal, dispensing performance, and container behaviour with your specific formulation.

The cap is made of HDPE, a durable plastic common in cosmetic and food packaging. Before first filling, wash both the bottle and the closure, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol if needed, and allow to dry completely. Residual moisture in the container could promote microbial growth in a product without preservation. After thorough washing, the set can be reused.

What to keep in mind

• Light – clear plastic does not protect the contents from light. Products sensitive to light (unrefined oils, preparations with essential oils or vitamins) should be stored in the dark or in a box. Dark glass is more suitable for long-term storage of light-sensitive substances.
• Essential oils and solvents – plastic may soften or become cloudy after prolonged contact with higher concentrations of essential oils or solvents. Pure essential oils and alcoholic concentrates are not suitable for this container.
• Heat – fill the contents when cooled down. A hot oil phase or warm gel can deform the plastic and create a vacuum after closing that causes the bottle to collapse.
• Labelling – the rounded body requires a label of appropriate width with a flexible adhesive so it does not peel off at the curve. Label dimensions can be found in the parameters.
• Recycling – both the bottle and the cap are plastic and, once emptied and rinsed, belong in sorted plastic waste collection.
