This is a screw-on metal cap with a surface finish in rose gold tone, reliably sealing bottles and vials with the corresponding thread. The outer shell is made of aluminium, with an expanded polyethylene (EPE) foam liner inserted inside that seats against the neck and prevents leakage and evaporation of the contents. It is suitable wherever you need a firm, well-sealing closure with a decorative metallic look — for oils, tinctures, serums or other liquid and oil-based preparations filled into vials with the same neck type.

What it is suitable for

The cap provides simple screw-on closure for bottles and vials from which the contents are poured or taken directly, without a dispensing mechanism. In practice it is used for vegetable and macerated oils, tinctures, hydrolats and tonics and similar liquid or oil-based preparations where a firm closure is sufficient and no pump or dropper is required. It fits onto necks with the same thread type as stated in the packaging specifications.

Good to know

Before first use, we recommend washing and drying the cap, or lightly wiping the sealing surface with isopropyl alcohol and allowing it to air out. Ready-made bottle and closure combinations as well as vials with the same neck type are available in the Handymade range. With a custom combination of container and closure, we recommend verifying the seal with the specific formulation — ideally with a brief test closure and placing the vial on its side.

Aluminium is a metal, so treat the cap accordingly: avoid heavy mechanical damage to the surface finish and prolonged contact with aggressive substances. It is advisable to verify the seal with alcohol-based and oil-based contents as well as preparations with a higher proportion of essential oils before filling a larger batch, as some solvents may affect the foam liner over time.
