Polyaquol 2W
The emulsifier that gives the whole formulation its character: thanks to it you can create various levels of viscosity and density of the product — from a light liquid to a creamy consistency. It can be used in various formulations, including products whose preparation is more demanding. In this formula it makes up 5% of the mixture and is dispersed into the hot aqueous phase.
Water
The aqueous phase makes up the rest of the formula — it is topped up to 100%. Prepare it first and heat it to 75 – 80 °C, and only then disperse the emulsifier into it.
Preservative
The preservative is added as phase B, only once the temperature of the mixture drops below 40 °C. Its proportion in the formula is depending on the selection — follow the dosage of the particular preservative you use.

Procedure
- Prepare the aqueous phase Phase A75 – 80 °C
Prepare the aqueous phase and heat it to a temperature of 75 – 80 °C.
- Disperse the emulsifier Phase A
Disperse the emulsifier in the mixture.
- Homogenise
Homogenise the mixture for a few minutes.
- Cool it down
Then cool the mixture with occasional stirring.
- Add the preservative Phase Bbelow 40 °C
When the temperature drops below 40 °C, add the preservative.
In this way you will create a gel with a viscosity of 5,000 – 11,000 cps.
