Glass perfume atomizer, 10 ml

A ready-made set of a glass bottle with an atomizer for filling your own perfumes, perfume waters and fragrance mists. The bottle with a nominal volume of 10 ml has a narrow, tall shape that fits comfortably in a handbag or pocket. The transparent atomizer has the same type of thread, so the set just needs to be filled and is ready to use.

The transparent glass shows the colour of the contents, which is useful for samples, gift packaging or when testing several fragrance variants side by side. The atomizer delivers a fine, small dose when pressed, so the set works best with alcohol-based perfumes and light aqueous solutions that are applied in small amounts to skin, hair or fabric.

What the set is suitable for

• Own perfumes and perfume waters – alcohol-based solutions of fragrance compositions, essential oils or their blends. The small volume allows testing several variants without using large amounts of raw material.
• Samples and testers – when developing a fragrance or distributing samples to customers, 10 ml is a suitable size for testing.
• Hair and body mists in travel size – light water-alcohol solutions with a fragrance component.

How to use the set

The contents are filled into the bottle, the atomizer is screwed onto the thread and tightened firmly. Before first use, the atomizer needs to be pressed several times until the liquid is drawn up and starts delivering an even spray.

When filling, it is useful to distinguish two volumes. The nominal volume is the volume for which the container is intended for normal filling. The total capacity to the brim is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck. The difference provides a reserve for the atomizer tube and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim, otherwise the contents will overflow when the atomizer is screwed on.

What is worth knowing

Transparent glass does not protect the contents from light. Perfumes containing citrus and other easily oxidising ingredients should be stored away from direct sunlight, otherwise the fragrance and colour may change over time. If the perfume is to be exposed to light for longer periods, it is better to choose dark glass.

The atomizer is made of polypropylene, which normally withstands alcohol-based solutions. At high concentrations of essential oils or other solvents, we recommend verifying compatibility in the finished formulation, especially for longer-term storage.

Before first filling, the bottle and atomizer are washed, disinfected with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol and left to dry completely. The set can be used repeatedly. When changing the fragrance, the atomizer should be rinsed with clean alcohol and sprayed through to remove any residue from the previous contents from the tube.

The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products, the declaration of conformity is available with the product. The set is not intended for contact with food.

Only a small label fits on the narrow body of the bottle. After use, the glass and the plastic atomizer should be sorted separately according to material.
