A clear PET bottle with a trigger sprayer is a complete set for liquid preparations applied over a larger surface area. Suitable for hair and body mists, detangling sprays, hydrosols, tonics, fabric and air fresheners, and household cleaning products. The trigger makes repeated spraying comfortable and effortless.

The clear plastic lets you see both the colour of the contents and the remaining amount. PET is lightweight and shatterproof, making the bottle suitable for the bathroom, travel, and the workshop. The 100 ml volume is well suited to small batches, trial formulations, and preparations meant to be used fresh.

Which preparations is this set suitable for

The trigger sprayer works reliably with thin, low-viscosity liquids on a water or alcohol base. The consistency of the contents determines whether a fine mist or a directed stream is produced.

• Hair care – mists, leave-in conditioner sprays, and detangling preparations applied along the full length of the hair.
• Body and facial mists – hydrosols, tonics, and refreshing sprays with a water-based consistency.
• Room and textile fragrances – alcohol-based and water-based sprays where coverage over a larger area is desirable.
• Household use – cleaning preparations for surfaces, glass, or the bathroom in a smaller format.

Gels, lotions, and thick emulsions may not be drawn up by the mechanism or may be dispensed as a stream rather than a mist. Oils spray less evenly than water-based solutions and tend to produce larger droplets. For such contents, we recommend testing the behaviour before use.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the fill quantity the bottle is designed for under normal conditions. Total volume is the physical capacity up to the top of the neck and is slightly larger. The difference serves as a buffer: once the cap is fitted, the dip tube and sprayer body take up some space, and the contents expand slightly with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. Overfilling can cause spillage when closing or subsequent leakage around the thread.

Useful information

Preparation before filling. Wash the bottle and sprayer, sanitise them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow to dry completely. Flush the sprayer mechanism by first spraying clean water through it, then alcohol.

Dip tube. It should reach just above the bottom of the bottle. If it is too long, trim it with scissors at an angle so it cannot seal against the base, allowing the bottle to be emptied as fully as possible.

Light. A clear container does not protect the contents from light. Preparations containing hydrosols, plant extracts, essential oils, or light-sensitive active ingredients should be stored in the dark — for example in a cabinet or box.

Compatibility with contents. The plastic is compatible with water-based and standard alcohol-based preparations. With a high proportion of essential oils, fragrance compounds, or solvents, we recommend a compatibility test: fill the bottle, leave it to stand for several weeks, and check whether the plastic becomes cloudy or soft and whether the sprayer still seals properly.

Intended use. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products. It is not intended for food use.

Label and sorting. The dimensions required for label design are listed in the product parameters. The bottle is made of PET and the sprayer of PP; separate them before placing them in the appropriate recycling streams.
