Coconut oil, refined

Coconut oil is obtained from the flesh of the coconut. The oil is not made from genetically modified raw materials.
After refining it is filtered, which removes its characteristic scent.

It has a high content of saturated fatty acids. It is solid and melts on contact with the skin.

It can be used to make soaps, shampoos and creams.
In soap it should be handled with care, as a high proportion of saponified oil can dry the skin.
