Product description

Clear square glass bottle 10 ml

A small glass bottle with a narrow neck and square shape, designed for precise dispensing and clear storage of concentrated formulas in a small volume. The clear glass lets you see the contents fully, making it ideal wherever you want to show the colour and clarity of the product or quickly check its condition. With a nominal volume of 10 ml, it is practical for samples, travel sizes, and formulas dispensed drop by drop.

The square shape keeps the bottle stable on a shelf, offers a secure grip, and provides flat surfaces for a label. Glass is inert — it does not react with the contents, does not leach any substances into them, and tolerates ingredients that tend to be demanding on plastic.

Key benefits

  • Clear glass – allows visual inspection of the contents and highlights the colour of a serum, oil, or tincture; does not provide protection from light.
  • Inert material – glass does not react with the fill, making it suitable for essential oils, alcohol-based extracts, and active ingredients sensitive to packaging materials.
  • Narrow neck – supports controlled drop-by-drop dispensing and limits air exposure to the contents.
  • Small volume – suitable for concentrates, samples, and products with a short shelf life after opening.

Suitable for products such as

The 10 ml format and narrow neck make the bottle a practical container for facial serums, oil blends, tinctures, and fragrance compositions — formulas applied in small quantities where a smaller pack size makes sense. It also works well for samples and test batches when you need to split the same contents into multiple units.

As this is clear glass, light-sensitive contents (such as serums with vitamin C or retinol, or essential oil blends) are best stored away from light or in tinted glass.

Good to know

The packaging material is suitable for contact with cosmetic products and meets the relevant regulatory requirements; the declaration of conformity can be found directly on the product page.

Distinguish between nominal and total volume. The nominal volume is the quantity the bottle is designed for under normal filling. The total brim-full volume is the physical capacity up to the neck and is slightly larger — this difference is the allowance for the closure, dropper, or pump, and for any expansion of the contents. When filling, therefore, fill to the nominal volume, not to the very brim.

The neck thread type is listed in the product parameters. Closures with the matching thread type as well as ready-made bottle-and-closure combinations are available in the Handymade range; for custom combinations, we recommend verifying the seal, dispensing performance, and packaging behaviour with your specific formulation.

Before first filling, wash the bottle, sanitise with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry thoroughly. For cosmetics with a water phase, this reduces the risk of microbiological contamination right from the start.

Glass is sensitive to sudden temperature changes — avoid rapid transitions from hot to cold. An empty bottle can be reused after washing, and as glass it belongs in separate waste collection.

Frequently asked questions

Does a clear glass bottle protect the contents from light?
No, clear glass does not block light. It transmits it, so the contents remain visible but are not protected from its effects. Store light-sensitive ingredients in the bottle away from light, or choose tinted (amber or blue) glass.
To what volume should the glass bottle be filled?
The bottle should be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. The total volume to the neck is slightly larger and provides the allowance for the closure, dropper, or pump, and for expansion of the contents. Filling to the very brim would prevent the closure from seating and sealing properly.
Is the glass bottle suitable for essential oils and alcohol-based tinctures?
Yes. Glass is inert, does not react with the contents, and does not absorb aromatic compounds, so it tolerates essential oils and alcohol-based extracts better than many plastics. For highly volatile blends, ensure a well-sealing closure.
What closure fits this glass bottle?
Closures with the same neck thread type as listed in the product parameters are compatible. Specific suitable closures as well as ready-made bottle-and-closure combinations are available in the Handymade range; for a custom combination, verify the seal and dispensing with your formulation.
Can the glass bottle be reused?
Yes. After emptying, wash it, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow it to dry before refilling. Glass tolerates repeated cleaning well; for water-based cosmetic blends, thorough disinfection before each fill is essential.
