Product description
The glass dropper bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of various liquid and partially viscous preparations. High-quality glass provides a stable environment for the contents and enables long-term storage of both homemade and artisan-produced formulations.
This type of bottle is popular for packing preparations that require reliable protection against external influences and precise dosing using a suitable closure or dispenser. Thanks to its material properties, the packaging is suitable for cosmetic preparations, technical solutions, and various special blends intended for targeted application.
Possible uses
- packaging of face serums, active concentrates, essential and vegetable oils
- packaging for toners, facial waters, intensive treatments, and special bath additives
- practical bottle for tinctures, drops, glycerin macerates, and herbal extracts for cosmetic use
- container for laboratory samples, test formulations, and trial batches of products
- bottle for concentrated aromatic blends, perfume bases, and technical solutions used in cosmetic manufacturing
Advantages of the packaging
- Material stability – the glass bottle is chemically inert, does not react with the contents, and is suitable even for formulations with a higher proportion of active substances or alcohol.
- Protection of the contents – high-quality glass creates a barrier against external influences, helping to preserve the sensory properties and stability of the product during storage.
- Professional appearance – the packaging looks clean and aesthetic and increases the perceived value of the finished product, whether for homemade or small artisan batches.
- Universal use – a single bottle can be used for different types of products depending on the chosen closure or dispensing mechanism.
- Reusability – with proper cleaning and disinfection, the packaging can be used again, supporting a responsible approach to product creation and to the environment.
Combining with closures and dispensers
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps, or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
Technical parameters
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product specifications.
FAQ – Most frequently asked questions
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (for example isopropyl alcohol 99% or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based) and allowed to dry completely. This procedure helps to minimise microbiological risk and supports the stability of the new product.
The glass bottle is ideal for packaging products that are dispensed in small amounts – cosmetic serums, oils, intensive treatments, toners, aromatic blends, or various laboratory and test solutions. In combination with a suitable dropper or spray pump, it allows precise and convenient use, which is particularly important for concentrated formulations.
We recommend first rinsing the bottle mechanically with residual carrier oil or a suitable solvent compatible with the original contents, then washing it with warm water and a mild detergent and rinsing thoroughly. After drying, the internal surface and the neck of the packaging must be disinfected using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, allowed to evaporate, and only then refilled. This procedure reduces the risk of contamination of the new product.
Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any visible product residues. The glass packaging is normally sorted into the container designated for glass, while the closure or dispensing mechanism must be sorted according to their material, following the instructions given in the product specifications on the website. By following the recommended sorting, you support efficient material recycling and waste reduction.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, dropper bottles, or jars), you will find a filtering option at the top of the page, where you can select a combination of parameters such as neck type, size, colour, and material. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the selection to the packaging options that are most suitable for your specific formulation and intended dosing method.
