Always use the dropper for clean and homogeneously mixed preparations. Gently squeeze the rubber part, immerse the end of the pipette into the product and draw in the required amount by releasing it. When dosing, drip slowly to achieve a uniform and repeatable amount per application. After use, close the dropper firmly back onto the bottle to minimise the contact of the contents with the external environment.

The dropper can be reused with the same type of product as long as you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling or change of contents, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the packaging and the dropper. Suitable disinfection can be carried out using products such as IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable, which you can find, for example, as products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 – denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature before refilling.

First disassemble the dropper into individual parts if its design allows it. Rinsing with a suitable solvent is recommended (for example oil for oil-based blends or distilled water for aqueous solutions), followed by gentle washing with a neutral cleaning agent and thorough rinsing. Before further use, disinfect the packaging (for example using IPA or ethanol) and allow it to dry completely. When changing the type of formulation (for example from a perfume composition to a facial serum), it is important that no residues of the original product remain in the dropper that could affect the fragrance, colour or stability of the new mixture.

If you decide not to continue using the dropper or the related bottle, we recommend that after emptying and basic cleaning you place them in sorted collection according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Glass parts go into the glass container, plastic components into the plastic container, any metal elements into metal waste if this option is available in your area. Always check the recycling marking and materials used in the parameter table for the specific product on the Handymade website and follow local waste sorting rules.
