Yes, the jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is important to clean the container thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your products.
For which type of cosmetic products is this jar most suitable?
The jar is particularly ideal for balms, butters, creams, ointments, solid perfume, lip products and smaller quantities of loose blends such as mineral powders, masks or scrubs. Thanks to the transparent glass, it is also suitable for products where you want to present their natural colour and texture.
How should the jar be properly prepared before the first filling or a product change?
Before filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the jar (rinsing, removing dust or product residues) and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol. The products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based are particularly practical. After disinfection, let the container dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then fill it, in order to minimise the risk of contamination and influence on the product consistency.
How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, first remove any remaining product. Dispose of the glass container in the appropriate glass collection bin according to local recycling regulations. The aluminium lid should be sorted into metal packaging collection where this option is available in your municipality. When sorting, follow the information given in the product parameters and the local recommendations for waste management.
