Plastic trigger sprayer, 28/410, all-plastic, white, 22 cm

The plastic trigger sprayer 28/410 serves as a bottle closure that dispenses the contents as a spray or a stream. It screws onto a bottle with the same neck finish and is suitable for liquid cleaning products, household products, ironing waters, and hair and body sprays. The dip tube draws liquid up from the bottle, and each squeeze of the trigger releases it through the nozzle.

The sprayer is all-plastic, with no metal spring or other metal parts, so the contents do not come into contact with metal during dispensing. It is supplied in cosmetic grade and in technical grade, so it is suitable for sprays intended for skin and hair as well as for household products.

What it is suitable for

• Liquid cleaning products – all-purpose cleaners and products for glass, the bathroom or the kitchen, applied over a surface.
• Ironing and household waters – ironing waters, fabric fresheners and similar thin liquid products.
• Hair and body sprays – hair sprays and refreshing water-based body sprays.

Use and fitting to the bottle

The sprayer screws onto a bottle with a 28/410 neck finish in the same way as an ordinary cap. According to the manufacturer, one squeeze of the trigger dispenses 1.3 ml ± 0.13 ml of liquid.

The dip tube is 22 cm long, which suits taller bottles with a 28/410 neck finish. It must reach the bottom of the bottle, otherwise the entire contents cannot be used up. If the bottle is taller than the length of the tube, part of the contents will remain unused at the bottom.

Good to know

The sprayer is intended for liquid products of the kinds listed above. If the formulation contains oil, wax or a thickener, test the suitability of the sprayer directly with the finished product.

The all-plastic design without a metal spring means that the sprayer is also suitable for liquids where contact with metal is undesirable. The material is polypropylene and the colour is white.
