Thanks to its solid metal construction, it is suitable for packaging liquid and slightly viscous products for which reliable closure and protection against unwanted leakage of the contents are important. The aluminum cap 28/400 rose gold is intended for sealing compatible bottles and vials that may contain liquid and slightly viscous products. The most important factor is the correct choice of the bottle itself and the type of neck – for thicker formulations we recommend performing a trial filling and verifying whether the product can be dispensed and stored without undesirable leakage or build-up in the thread area.
The cap can be reused with correct handling and without visible damage, always in compliance with strict hygiene principles. Before each new filling, both the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only then is it appropriate to refill and close the packaging again in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the contents.
We recommend cleaning the cap with a mild cleaning agent and lukewarm water, without abrasive sponges that could damage the surface. After washing, it is important to dry the closure thoroughly to avoid long-term contact with moisture in the thread area. Before repeated use, it is advisable to disinfect the inner part of the closure and the neck of the bottle with a suitable alcohol-based product, then let it dry completely and only then use it again.
If you decide not to use the cap any further after use, it is appropriate to send it for recycling according to the material type stated in the product parameters. After emptying the bottle and basic cleaning of product residues, the aluminum closure can be handed over to sorted collection of metal packaging, if the local waste collection system allows it. When combined with other materials (for example an inserted gasket) we recommend following local recommendations and the information in the parameter table to make recycling as effective as possible.
