Manufacture of soap from soap mass

Back19. 02. 2016 Tutorials

This method is ideal for beginners. You buy ready-made soap mass, add dye and essence as desired. However, this process also has its secrets, so we bring you a photo tutorial to help you in making soap from soap mass.

1. We will prepare the necessary raw materials and tools: soap mass, dye (mica), essential oil, alcohol to remove bubbles (you can buy in the paint and varnish shop), a cup in which to dissolve the soap mass, a container to mix the dye, a mould, a spoon, protective gloves.

2.prepare the dye before the actual dissolving of the mass. Mix about half a teaspoon of dye in a small amount of oil (I used rapeseed oil)

3.cut the soap mass into smaller pieces, put it in a mug (store it so that you don't confuse it with a mug for cooking food)

4.dissolve the soap mass prepared in this way on a low flame, be careful, the mass must not reach the boiling point, otherwise it would not harden.

5.add the essential oil and the prepared dye to the melted soap mass. In case the mass becomes hard, you can warm it up again for a while. Stir the colouring in the mixture and pour the mixture into the prepared moulds.

6. Once the mass is poured into the moulds, spray the top of the soap with alcohol to prevent air bubbles.

7.after an hour or so, you can remove the hardened soap from the moulds and leave it to harden properly for at least 24 hours. The soap is ready to use.

I hope the instructions have inspired you and you are eager to start making your own soaps :)
