The airless jar represents a modern and hygienic packaging for sensitive cosmetic formulations, providing them with maximum protection against contact with air and contamination during use. Thanks to the airless system, this jar is ideal for packaging creamy, gel-based and slightly liquid products where the stability of the composition, comfortable dosing and the professional appearance of the final product are important. The packaging is designed to allow precise, gradual dispensing of the contents without the need to immerse fingers into the jar, thereby supporting longer shelf life and cleanliness of the product.
Before first use, it is advisable to check whether the jar is not mechanically damaged and then to clean and disinfect it thoroughly. It is recommended to work in a clean environment, disassemble the packaging into the accessible parts, remove mechanical impurities by rinsing and then disinfect the inner surfaces with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. After the alcohol has evaporated and the jar is completely dry, you can proceed to filling with the finished cosmetic product.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed, especially within your own manufacturing practice or when refilling the same type of product. Before each new filling, however, the jar must first be cleaned thoroughly and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after the inner surfaces are completely dry is the packaging ready for refilling, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.
If the dosing mechanism does not start working evenly immediately, it is recommended first to check the consistency of the filled product and any air entrapment. Pressing the pump several times may help, or gently tapping the bottom part of the jar against a soft surface so that the product moves towards the dosing orifice. For thicker creams, check whether the packaging is not too small or, conversely, too large for that type of consistency, which may affect the smooth movement of the piston.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of material specified in the product parameter table. First, it is advisable to remove any product residues, disassemble the packaging into individual parts as far as possible (body, internal components, cap) and sort them into the appropriate separate waste fractions according to local regulations. Following the information on the material in the product parameters will help you to assign the packaging to the correct collection stream and thus support effective recycling.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. In this way, you will find the bottle, jar or dropper bottle that best matches your formulation and the desired appearance of the final product.
The airless jar is particularly suitable for cosmetics where the stability of active ingredients and minimisation of contact with air and impurities are important. These are mainly face creams, serums, special treatments, dermocosmetic preparations and products with a lower content of preservatives. It is also suitable for eye contour creams and local treatment preparations, where the user will appreciate precise and hygienic dosing without immersing fingers into the contents of the jar.
