Yes, the glass medicine bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the medicine bottle ready for safe refilling.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing any manufacturing dust and then disinfecting it with alcohol. It is suitable to use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, rinse the packaging, allow it to drain and dry it completely at room temperature. Only then is it suitable for filling with the final product.
For precise dosing of drops, serums or tinctures, dropper closures or pipette closures are particularly practical, as they allow convenient and controlled dosing even of very liquid formulations. When choosing, we recommend checking the compatibility of the bottle neck type and the specific closure in the product parameters, and then testing the behaviour of the closure with your formulation in a small test batch.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it as much as possible of product residues and removing any non-metal or plastic parts of the closure. The glass bottle itself should then be placed in sorted collection according to the material, usually in the container designated for glass, in accordance with local waste collection rules.
