Can I use the vial repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed, for example when testing different recipes or refilling the same type of product. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the container and the closure thoroughly in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable reactions with residues of the previous contents. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured, which are commonly used in the preparation of homemade cosmetics and hygienic preparation of packaging.

How do I properly clean the glass vial before the first and repeated use?

Before the first and repeated use, it is advisable to clean the bottle mechanically (rinsing, possibly a mild cleaning agent intended for glass), rinse thoroughly with clean water and then dry it. After drying, disinfection follows – the inner surface and the thread can be treated, for example, with isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Leave the disinfectant solution to act briefly, pour off the excess and let the packaging dry completely so that it is ready for safe filling with a new product.

How can I dispose of or recycle the packaging in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the vial further, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and removing any remaining contents. Then dispose of the glass part according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product – it usually belongs in the container intended for glass recycling. The metal closure should be separated and sorted separately according to local rules for metal packaging.
