VERIFIED CONTENT — DESCRIPTION
The glossy black dropper is a dispensing closure with a glass tube that allows you to draw and apply liquid products drop by drop. It is ideal wherever clean, controlled dispensing matters — for serums, facial and body oils, tinctures, tonics, or essential oil blends. The glossy black finish also reduces light exposure at the bottle neck, which is useful for light-sensitive contents.
The dropper has an 18/410 thread, so it fits bottles with the same neck type. You can pair a standalone dropper with a bottle by matching the thread, or choose a ready-made bottle + dropper combination from the Handymade range.
Key benefits
- Drop-by-drop dispensing – the glass tube draws a precise amount and lets you apply the contents point by point, without spilling or overdosing.
- Glass tube – glass is inert, does not react with oil-based or alcohol-based contents, and does not absorb fragrance, making it suitable even for concentrated blends.
- Glossy black finish – the dark closure reduces light transmission through the bottle neck and visually complements dark bottles designed for light-sensitive products.
- Standard 18/410 thread – fits common bottles with this neck size, easy to fit and replace.
Suitable uses
The dropper is designed for liquid and oil-based products with low to medium viscosity where drop-by-drop dispensing makes sense:
- facial and hair serums and oils,
- tinctures, herbal infusions, and alcohol-based extracts,
- tonics and aqueous active solutions,
- essential and fragrance oil blends for further dilution.
With thick creams, gels, or emulsions the contents are difficult to draw up — a different type of closure is more practical in those cases.
Good to know
Before first use, wash and disinfect the dropper (for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol) and allow it to dry thoroughly to avoid introducing contaminants into the product. Also rinse the inside of the glass tube by drawing and releasing the solution several times.
The suction part of the dropper is made of a flexible material that performs reliably with standard cosmetic contents. The packaging material is suitable for contact with cosmetic products.
Undiluted essential oils and a high alcohol content put more strain on the flexible suction part than water-based or oil-based products. With such contents, check regularly that the dropper still draws up properly and replace it if needed.
When changing the contents, also clean the glass part so that fragrances and residues from the previous product do not mix. When recycling, separate the components where possible — sort the glass tube and the metal-plastic closure individually.
