Plastic bottle with a practical cap is a universal packaging suitable for filling various liquid cosmetic products, cleaning solutions and technical mixtures intended for external use. Thanks to the reliable material and the well-sealing cap, the bottle is ideal for products where protection of the contents, easy handling and convenient dosing are important.
The packaging is designed to withstand normal use, transport and storage. The construction of the bottle enables safe and controlled pouring or transfilling, which you will appreciate when preparing smaller doses of products or when filling other dispensers and applicators.
The standalone plastic bottle is compatible with various types of caps and dosing systems according to the selected parameters of the specific product. You can combine it with screw caps, dropper inserts, spray heads or practical applicators in order to achieve the desired method of dosing and comfort during use.
The packaging and cap combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, let the packaging dry thoroughly and only then fill it again.
The method of recycling depends on the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters and on the packaging itself (material designation with the recycling triangle symbol). After emptying, rinse the bottle from product residues and remove any labels if this is possible without damaging the packaging. Then dispose of it in the sorted waste container intended for the given type of plastic according to local rules (usually a yellow container for plastics). If you are not sure about the type of material, follow the information in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website and the recommendations of your collection yard or local authority.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for exposure to high temperatures or for filling with hot liquids. In case of excessive thermal stress, the walls of the bottle may soften or partially deform and the sealing properties of the cap may deteriorate. The packaging is not suitable for boiling, sterilization by boiling or for washing in a dishwasher. We recommend using it at normal room temperatures and protecting it from direct sources of heat or long-term exposure to the sun, for example in a parked car.
The bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and low-viscosity preparations where easy pouring or dosing into smaller containers is important. These include, for example, facial and body lotions, hair tonics, micellar solutions, cleansing solutions for cosmetic tools, working solutions containing alcohol and other auxiliary liquids. For formulations with a very high content of oils or specific solvents, we always recommend doing a test filling and monitoring the behaviour of the packaging over time.
For quick and accurate selection of suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter, you can set several parameters at once – especially the type and neck diameter, size (volume), colour and material of the packaging. Thanks to this, you can easily choose such bottles, jars or vials that will match your formulation, brand design and the desired method of dosing.
Before the first filling, we recommend removing production dust and any impurities. Rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or with drinking water (depending on the nature of the future contents) and let it dry. Then disinfect the inner surface and the neck using alcohol – practical products for this purpose are, for example, IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thoroughly airing off the alcohol residues, you can fill the packaging with the prepared product and close it immediately.
