Screw cap with dropper for bottles with a 18/410 neck releases contents drop by drop rather than pouring freely. Simply tilt or gently squeeze the bottle. It is therefore suitable for products where a small and controlled amount matters: essential oils, facial oils and serums, fragrance compositions, tinctures and concentrated active ingredients that are added to formulations drop by drop.

The cap is made of PE plastic, is lightweight and will not break if dropped. The brown colour complements the brown glass vials and bottles it is most commonly paired with, giving the finished product a cohesive look. The packaging material is suitable for use with cosmetic products and meets the relevant legislative requirements.

Practical use

The cap is designed for bottles with a 18/410 neck. Bottles with the same neck type and ready-made bottle-and-cap combinations are available in the range, so you do not need to assemble them yourself. With a custom combination, we recommend checking whether the cap seals, how the contents flow at the given viscosity and whether the fill changes the shape or colour of the dropper.

Works best with liquid and low-viscosity fills: essential and fragrance oils, light vegetable oils, alcohol-based tinctures, oil serums, active ingredient concentrates. With thicker oils or gel-like textures the contents drip slowly and drop-by-drop dispensing loses its purpose. For such products, a pump or glass dropper is more suitable.

Good to know

Before first use, wash the caps, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Residual moisture in the dropper can spoil anhydrous products such as essential oils or oil serums.

The cap can be reused if it is clean and undamaged. With neat essential oils and products with a higher solvent content, it is worth checking after some time whether the dropper has softened or changed shape. Prolonged contact with concentrated essential oils should be tested with the specific raw material.

Once no longer serviceable, unscrew the cap from the glass bottle and sort both parts separately; PE goes into the plastics waste stream.
