Clear Glass Square Bottle, 13/410, 10 ml, Transparent Sprayer

A square, clear bottle with a nominal volume of 10 ml and a fitted fine mist sprayer is a ready-made packaging solution for liquid products that are applied by spraying. It is particularly suitable for perfume and eau de parfum samples, travel-size face toners and hydrolates, refreshing facial mists or small hairspray packs. The clear glass shows the colour and the remaining amount of content, which is useful for samples and testers. The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products.

Suitable uses

• Travel packs – a hydrolate, facial mist or make-up setting spray fits easily into a handbag or hand luggage.
• Water-based and alcohol-based products – the fine mist sprayer is designed for thin liquids that disperse into a fine mist. Thicker oils and serums spray less well, so we recommend checking suitability in advance.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume of 10 ml is the amount the bottle is designed to hold during normal filling. The total brim-full volume, that is, the physical volume up to the neck, is slightly larger and can be found in the product parameters. The difference is a reserve for the fine mist sprayer tube and leaves room for the content when its temperature changes. For this reason, fill the bottle to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If the bottle is overfilled, the content is pushed out when the fine mist sprayer is screwed on, or the liquid is not drawn up properly.

Working with the packaging

Before the first filling, wash the bottle, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let it dry completely. For the fine mist sprayer, simply spray clean water or alcohol through it a few times and let it drain. Residual water in the mechanism would otherwise dilute the first sprays. You can fill the bottle with a dropper, a small funnel or a syringe. The neck of the 10 ml bottle is narrow, and pouring directly from a larger container is often imprecise.

Glass does not tolerate sudden temperature changes. Let hot liquids cool before filling, and do not put a filled bottle in the freezer. The fine mist sprayer is made of plastic. For products with a higher proportion of ethanol or essential oils, we recommend checking the tightness and function of the mechanism on a single piece before a larger batch. The same applies to products containing particles, for example undissolved extract or pigment, which can clog the nozzle.

Reuse and recycling

The bottle can be reused after thorough washing and disinfection. Rinse the fine mist sprayer by spraying clean alcohol or water through it so that no residues of the previous content remain in the mechanism. When changing the fragrance, we recommend using a new fine mist sprayer. The glass belongs in glass recycling; the plastic fine mist sprayer is unscrewed before disposal and sorted separately as plastic.
