A lightweight transparent PET bottle with a nominal volume of 750 ml, designed primarily for household cleaning products: all-purpose cleaners, dish soap, glass and surface cleaners, liquid hand soaps in larger formats, or dilution concentrates. The transparent material shows the contents and colour of the product, so you can see how much is left and whether any separation has occurred. The 28/410 neck thread is a standard size, so you can pair the bottle with a trigger sprayer, pump dispenser, or cap depending on how the product should be dispensed.

The bottle is also suitable for cosmetic products, such as shower gels, shampoos, or body lotions in family-size packaging. The declaration of conformity and documentation on cosmetic contact suitability are listed with the product.

What the bottle is suitable for

• Cleaning products with a trigger sprayer – glass, kitchen, or bathroom cleaners. A trigger sprayer for the 28/410 neck delivers a fine mist or stream depending on the nozzle setting.
• Dish soap and liquid hand soaps – with a pump or flip-top cap, the product can be dispensed one-handed without unscrewing anything.
• Concentrates and refills – the larger volume is practical as a stock pack used to top up smaller bottles for everyday use.
• Rinse-off cosmetics – shower gels, shampoos, and conditioners, where the 750 ml volume suits a family or economy-size format.

Good to know

The packaging states the nominal volume, meaning the quantity the bottle is designed for under normal filling conditions. The total capacity up to the rim is larger; the difference provides clearance for the cap, the dip tube of a pump or sprayer, and for thermal expansion of the contents. Fill to the nominal volume, not to the rim, to avoid overflow when screwing on a cap with a dip tube.

PET tolerates aqueous and mildly acidic or mildly alkaline solutions, which make up most household cleaners. With concentrated alkalis, strong acids, organic solvents, or formulations with a high proportion of essential oils, first test material compatibility with a small quantity. Watch particularly for clouding of the wall, softening, or deformation over several days. The bottle is not intended for hot-fill applications, so pour products only after they have cooled to room temperature.

The transparent material does not protect the contents from light. For light-sensitive formulations, such as those containing natural colorants or a higher proportion of essential oils, store the bottle away from direct sunlight or choose an opaque container.

The bottle can be reused for the same type of product after thorough washing. Switching contents, for example from a cleaner to a cosmetic, is not recommended, as residues of fragrances and surfactants cannot be fully removed from the plastic. PET is a commonly recyclable plastic; an empty, rinsed bottle belongs in plastic waste collection.
