Fine Mist Sprayer, Black, Matte Silver Collar, Smoky Overcap, 24/410

A plastic sprayer with 24/410 thread is a mechanical sprayer for bottles with the same type of neck. Pressing the head releases a fine mist, making it suitable for products applied by spraying onto the skin, hair, or into the air: facial tonics, hydrolats, refreshing mists, hair waters, and room fresheners. The black head with a silver matte collar looks understated and pairs well with both dark and clear bottles.

The sprayer is supplied complete with a dip tube that draws the contents from the bottom of the bottle. It is suitable for use with cosmetic products and meets the relevant legislative requirements; a declaration of conformity is available with the product.

What the sprayer is suitable for

• Tonics and hydrolats – thin aqueous solutions pass through the nozzle without issue and the mist spreads evenly over the skin.
• Facial and body mists – including light mists with solubilised oil or glycerin.
• Hair waters and leave-in sprays – spraying makes application to hair easier without excessive wetting.
• Alcohol-based solutions – air fresheners and fabric sprays with lower viscosity.
• Household cleaning products – dilute solutions for surfaces.

Use and assembly

The sprayer screws onto a bottle with a 24/410 neck. Before first use, the head must be pressed several times until the pump is primed with contents and begins to spray. This is normal priming of the mechanism, not a defect.

The dip tube should reach nearly to the bottom of the bottle but must not buckle against it. For shorter bottles, simply trim it to the required length with a sharp knife or scissors. A diagonal cut helps prevent the tube from adhering to the bottom and ensures it draws up to the very last dose.

What's good to know

The mechanical sprayer is designed for thin liquids. The higher the viscosity of the contents, the less well the mist forms. Thicker serums, emulsions, or xanthan-thickened solutions spray unevenly or not at all through the nozzle; for cream-based products, opt for a pump dispenser instead.

The sprayer body is made of polypropylene (PP), which withstands aqueous solutions, hydrolats, and the usual ethanol content found in cosmetics. The silver collar is aluminium and forms the outer element of the head.

Before first filling, we recommend rinsing the sprayer with clean water or an ethanol solution, pumping through empty, and allowing to dry. When changing contents, rinse the dip tube and pump with warm water and pump through several times with clean water to ensure no residue from the previous product remains in the mechanism.
